And Eli? He’s the broken god of this twisted little kingdom. An unrelenting, sadistic, emotionally scarred monster with ice in his veins, and to my horror/delight, I couldn’t get enough of him.

Eli’s game isn’t just violence, it’s an obsession.

And when obsession looks like that in black tactical gear? BABE. I get it.

💀 Strengths

Gripping power dynamics. This is not your fluffy enemies-to-lovers this is enemies-to-bloodsport-to-I’ll kill the world for you.
A heroine with claws. She doesn’t cower. She learns, adapts, and flips the power dynamic like a queen in combat boots.
The tension could cut diamonds. Every scene between them thrums with danger and heat. You’re never sure if he’s going to kiss her or kill her, and neither is she.
Dark bully romance perfection. If you love unhinged anti-heroes who toe the line between love and destruction, Eli’s your man.

💀 Weaknesses

Definitely not a “soft and sweet” read. Eli’s trauma, toxicity, and twisted love serve piping hot.

If your ideal romance includes knives, betrayal, and one-bedrooms with “oops, we’re enemies,” you’re welcome.
