The Best Alpha Pack You’ll Ever Meet Claimed by the Psychos by Harper Lennox & River Ramsey

Welcome to the Romanceaholic, where we read alphas for breakfast and swoon over psychos for dinner.

Omega Assassins, Codependency, and One Hell of a Pack

Okay, babes. If you’ve ever whispered to yourself, “I wish my favorite morally gray omega assassins would stumble into a scent-matched alpha vigilante pack with just the right amount of unhinged,” then Claimed by the Psychos is your next obsession.

And yes, I said obsession, not “read,” not “maybe-check-it-out,” but full-on, binge-read-it-in-one-sitting-while-screaming kind of obsession.

Let’s talk facts: this book is a firestorm of dark omegaverse vibes, pulse-pounding action, and off-the-charts chemistry. Juniper and Felix? Literal chaos goblins.

Lethal, bonded, ride-or-die omegas who will kill first and cuddle later, maybe. Their love is twisted, beautiful, raw… and completely derailed when the Psychos show up.

Viper, Bane, Doctor, and Jackal swoon. This alpha pack is not your run-of-the-mill group of possessive hotties. They’re elite vigilantes with enough trauma, charm, and grit to leave you melting into your Kindle.

Trust me: this is not the pack you want, it’s the pack you need.

Reasons This Pack Earned All Five Stars

          1. The Psychos Are Peak Alpha Pack Goals

Forget everything you thought you knew about pack dynamics. These alphas are protective without being possessive, deadly without being dull, and emotionally intelligent without being boring.

A rare combo, let’s be real.

Each one brings a unique flavor to the table. Viper is all smirks and danger, Doctor is a deliciously broken genius, Bane is the growly protector, and Jackal? Well… he’s the wild card you absolutely want to pull.

        2. Juniper and Felix Are Unhinged and We Love It

They’re bonded omegas pretending to be an alpha-omega pair. They’re assassins with a soft spot for each other and no one else.

They’re codependent in the most feral, heartbreaking way. It shouldn’t work, and yet it does. Juniper’s gradual unraveling and Felix’s desperation to hold her together is perfection.

     3.  The Tension Is Thicker Than Alpha Scent

This book builds emotionally, sexually, narratively. Every chapter ratchets up the stakes, and just when you think you’ve got a handle on who’s in charge, someone drops a plot twist or a pheromone bomb, and suddenly you’re feral on your couch.

    4. It’s Dark, It’s Messy, It’s Delicious

This is not a light and fluffy read, y’all. There’s trauma, obsession, moral gray zones, and lots of bloody hands. And somehow, it still manages to be one of the most romantic books I’ve read all year.

Why? Because it understands that love real love isn’t always pretty. Sometimes, it’s painful. Sometimes, it’s wild. Sometimes, it’s a group of vigilante psychos who smell like home.

Strengths vs. Weaknesses

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Most Memorable Moment?

Without spoiling too much… there’s a scene involving the alphas showing the omegas how strong they are when they need protection.

Cue the tears. Cue the swooning. Cue the highlighting that quote in three colors and screaming into the void.

Compared to Others in the Genre?

Harper Lennox and River Ramsey just took the omegaverse genre, slapped it with a blade, dipped it in pheromones, and handed us a five-course emotional feast. Compared to most alpha-omega reverse harems, Claimed by the Psychos actually explores deep trauma bonding, grief, and love with nuance.

Final Thoughts: Read. This. Book.

The plot twist is Unholy. The steam is sinful and delicious. The love story is so haunting, it lives rent-free in my heart. Now excuse me while I go re-read it for the third time and tattoo “Claimed by the Psychos” on my emotional support water bottle. Stay spicy, romanceaholics.
