He had no business entering like that. The slow swagger? The jawline? The aura of “I’ve definitely burned down an empire before”? Sir, jail. But also, hi.

b. His first line was something absolutely unhinged… and hot

He looked the heroine in the eye and said something that should’ve been a red flag, but somehow unlocked your inner villain worshipper. It’s giving: “I’ll destroy everything you love if you run from me again.” Like??? YES??

c. He stared at the heroine like she was prey. And she liked it.

That unblinking, slow-burning, borderline feral look? The one that says “I could ruin you, but I’d rather worship you instead”? Yeah, we saw that too. And we highlighted it.

d. He literally tried to kill someone on page 3, and you whispered, “Hmm.”

One murder and you were like, “Well, he’s passionate.” The body wasn’t even cold before you were planning how to fix him.
