a. He bullies everyone but protects you
He’s a walking red flag with commitment issues… but he carries your books and knocks out anyone who looks at you sideways. Ugh, love that for you.
b. You’re enemies, but he gets jealous when others look at you
He “can’t stand you,” but suddenly he’s lurking in the hallway when you talk to someone else? Baby, that’s not hate that’s possessive pining in denial.
c. Detention turns into confessions and chaos
You’re locked in a room with him after calling him out in class. You expected awkward silence… not him leaning back, smirking, and saying, “You’re not as annoying as I thought.” Boom. You’re toast.
d. He kisses you after emotionally destroying you in Chapter 5
He tore you down with brutal insults and emotional manipulation… but now you’re on the rooftop, crying, and he says, “You ruin me.” And you kiss. Is it healthy? No. Is it hot? Abso-freaking-lutely.
