AFTER DARK

🌶️🌶️ After Dark

For when you want the lights low and the fictional standards lower. Give me dangerous chemistry, shameless obsession, reckless devotion, and absolutely no apologies.

I Want to Bite My Lip

For the books that make you very aware of who’s sitting beside you.

You know the moment.

The chemistry shifts. The tension snaps. And suddenly you’re reading the same sentence twice because

Excuse me, sir?

These are the stories with wicked banter, dangerous proximity, and enough heat to make reading in public feel like a questionable decision.

Keep the poker face, romance reader. Nobody needs to know. 🫦

Give Me Lethal but Yummy

Terrible idea. Excellent fictional boyfriend.

He’s dangerous.

He’s intimidating.

There are probably several extremely valid reasons we should stay away from him.

Unfortunately, he has decided she is everything.

Give me the lethal man whose softness belongs to one woman. The one who can terrify everyone else and then turn around and treat her like she’s the most precious thing he’s ever touched.

Do I recommend him in real life? No. Do I need another chapter? Immediately.

I Have No Defense for This Man

Your Honor, I have reviewed the evidence. Unfortunately, he’s hot.

The evidence is overwhelming.

Questionable behavior? Documented.

Possessiveness? Exhibit A.

Unreasonable levels of devotion? Exhibits B through Z.

Have I prepared a reasonable defense?

Absolutely not.

I’m simply sitting before the court asking everyone to consider one important fact:

Your Honor…he loves her.

Ruin My Standards

Reasonable expectations never stood a chance.

Maybe it started with flowers.

Then fictional men began remembering every tiny detail, crossing impossible distances, making grand gestures, protecting without hesitation, groveling properly, and looking at one woman like she personally hung the moon.

And now?

Apparently “he texted back” is no longer impressing us.

These are the books that leave you closing your Kindle and thinking:

Well. That’s inconvenient. My standards have been permanently revised. 😈
