I CAME HERE FOR TROUBLE

🌶️ I Came Here for Trouble

For when sweet simply won’t do. Give me the obsession, the jealousy, the questionable decisions, and a man whose devotion comes with a warning label.

Give Me Obsession

He doesn’t just love her. She’s become the plan.

I want the hero who notices everything.

Her favorite drink. Her moods. The way her voice changes when she’s upset. The things she needs before she ever has to ask.

He’s attentive. Protective. Completely consumed.

There was a life before her.

He’s simply no longer interested in it.

Give me devotion with a slightly concerning level of commitment.

Give Me a Man With Questionable Methods

Morally questionable. Romantically committed.

Does he always make the right decision?

Absolutely not.

Do I occasionally need to close the book, stare at the wall, and reconsider why I’m rooting for him?

Also yes.

But when this morally gray man loves, he loves with everything he has.

The world can question his methods.

I’m currently busy examining the devotion.

Make Him Jealous

Is it mature? Maybe not. Am I turning the page? Absolutely.

One innocent conversation.

One other man standing a little too close.

And suddenly our previously calm hero has discovered several feelings he was definitely pretending not to have.

The jaw tightens.

The eyes follow.

The denial starts falling apart.

Sir…

Would you like to tell the class why you’re bothered?

Touch Her and Find Out

Protective is good. Slightly terrifying is apparently better.

She can handle herself.

He knows that.

That’s not stopping him from stepping between her and danger anyway.

Give me the hero who protects without diminishing her, stands beside her when things get ugly, and makes it unmistakably clear that hurting the woman he loves would be an exceptionally poor life choice.

Not because she’s helpless.

Because she’s his person.

And apparently we’ve chosen protective menace tonight. đź–¤
