Dragons, Fae, and a King with a Grudge: Welcome to the Wild Ride of A Vow of Dragons and Storms

Hold onto your wings, Romanceaholics, because G. Bailey’s A Vow of Dragons and Storms is about to take you on a wild ride through a mansion with more secrets than your favorite locked-room mystery. Imagine being the first fae to stroll into a mansion full of dragons and their ancient, oh-so-arrogant riders, who’ve been MIA for, oh, just a casual five centuries.

What could possibly go wrong? Spoiler alert: EVERYTHING.

Story Dehana, yes, her name is as epic as her journey. This girl is literally fresh out of the frying pan and straight into the dragon’s lair. After escaping vampyres (because who doesn’t have that on their to-do list?), she lands smack in the middle of a feuding pair of fae kings. One is a moody dreamboat who’d rather see her dead than let her breathe, and the other? Let’s just say he’s the sunshine you didn’t know you needed. But don’t get too comfortable; this mansion is a death trap wrapped in a mystery, and Story’s caught in the middle of a centuries-old power struggle with dragons lurking around every corner.

Let’s talk about Ziven, the broody king of the Moon Dynasty. He’s the kind of hero we love to hate gorgeous, dangerous, and so mistrustful of Story that you’ll be yelling at your Kindle (or whatever you read on). But here’s the kicker: even when he’s making her life a living hell, you can’t help but root for the simmering tension between them.

Meanwhile, The Sun Dynasty king is the exact opposite, thinking of the golden boy with a heart of sunshine. He’s about helping Story survive the Decidere, a lethal trial with “only the strong survive” written all over it.

This book is a juicy mix of survival, smoldering glances, and dragons who could end you with a flick of their tail. Bailey crafts a world where the stakes are as high as the heat level, which is surprisingly moderate, but the chemistry? Oh, it’s there, lurking beneath every heated exchange and life-or-death moment.

If you’re craving a high-stakes fantasy with a heroine who’s as fierce as the dragons, she’s trying to outwit, and kings who will have you torn between wanting to slap them and swoon, A Vow of Dragons and Storms is your next must-read. Just be warned you might find yourself desperately needing Book 2 ASAP.

So, light your fire and prepare to enter the world of dragon riders and deadly trials. Just remember: in this world, being brave isn’t optional. It’s a necessity.
