Billionaires, Bidding Wars & BFF Drama: The Heiress Auction by Evie Croft is a Sizzling High-Society Romp You’ll Devour

Welcome to Romanceaholic, where we spill the tea, throw shade, and swoon unapologetically. Today’s spotlight? The Heiress Auction by Evie Croft is a spicy little billionaire love triangle that had me gasping, giggling, and possibly texting my ex to feel something.

Katherine is being auctioned off in a high-society bachelorette charity event, which she clearly wants no part of. Cue the entrance of not one, not two, but THREE emotionally-complicated, testosterone-fueled men.

Her nemesis, Gabriel Rothburn, tech billionaire and certified brooding bad boy? Bidding. Her ex, we don’t speak his name? Also bidding. And her secret crush, Alexander Hunt, Mr. Best Friend Energy?

You guessed it, bidding. If you think this is going to end in anything less than possessive billionaires and jealousy-laced drama, then honey, buckle up.

High Stakes, High Drama, High Heels

Extra steam and a heavy pour of angst. The pacing is fast, the banter is sharp, and the tension is thicker than a pumpkin spice latte in October.

Strengths? Oh, where to begin. The chemistry sizzles, the plot is unapologetically indulgent, and Evie Croft knows how to deliver a billionaire romance that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still serves up all the feels. Gabriel and Alexander are opposites in all the right ways, and the emotional whiplash? Delicious.

But Let’s Talk Weaknesses…

While the premise is juicy, the middle lagged a bit. There were moments when the emotional conflict felt repetitive. Also, Katherine’s internal monologue, though relatable, could’ve used a bit more variety.

Still, the payoff? So worth it. That auction scene? Iconic. The rooftop confession? Swoon city. And let’s not forget the best friend moment that had me yelling “Protect her!” at 2 a.m.

Should You One-Click?

Absolutely. If you love messy billionaires, forbidden chemistry, and a heroine who finally finds her power, The Heiress Auction is your next guilty pleasure. Just don’t be surprised when you find yourself wishing you were up for auction.
