Good morning, romance reader ♡

“My weekend plans have excellent chemistry and approximately 400 pages.”

It’s Friday.

People are making dinner reservations.

Picking outfits.

Going to parties.

Being social.

And then there’s me, preparing for an extremely exclusive weekend engagement with someone who does not exist.

The dress code?

Comfy.

The guest list?

Me, my book, snacks, and one fictional man whose emotional availability is currently under investigation.

And frankly, the chemistry is excellent.

There will be flirting.

Probably yearning.

At least one misunderstanding that could have been solved with a five-minute conversation.

A suspicious amount of eye contact.

And if I selected correctly, somewhere around page 287 I will become completely incapable of behaving normally.

Perfect Friday night.

Because after an entire week of responsibilities, sometimes I don’t want exciting plans.

I want to disappear into 400 pages and become wildly overinvested in somebody else’s problems.

Phone down.

Blanket acquired.

Snacks strategically positioned.

Reality politely asked to wait outside.

And the best part?

No uncomfortable shoes.

No overpriced cocktails.

No pretending I heard what someone said over loud music.

Just me quietly thinking:

Sir, if you don’t tell her how you feel in the next twenty pages, we are going to have a problem.

So yes, I have weekend plans.

Very important ones, actually. ♡

Romanceaholic is emotionally booked all weekend.

What fictional man or book is getting your Friday night?
