I know, I know some people love a good slow burn, where the characters spend 300 pages avoiding their feelings, exchanging longing glances, and refusing to admit they’re obsessed with each other. And hey, that’s cute. But sometimes? I need the instant, world-shattering, fate-sealing kind of love.
The one look and they’re done for kind. The one dance and they already know kind. The “I just met you, but I’d burn down kingdoms for you” kind.
And yes, I’m here to defend instalove because sometimes, you just know. Who says love has to be logical? Maybe it’s fate. Perhaps it’s chemistry. Maybe she walked into the ballroom, and his entire existence realigned moment makes my heart race. Whatever it is, I am weak for it.
And let’s be honest, instalove works when it’s done right. The tension? Off the charts. The devotion? Immediate and unwavering. The hero looking at the heroine like she’s the sun, moon, and stars before they even exchange names? Inject it into my veins. Give me a man who falls hard, fast, and with absolutely zero hesitation.
So yeah, you can keep your “Will they? Won’t they?” I’ll be over here swooning over a hero who takes one look and knows he’s doomed and loving every second of it.

I love the insta-love trope! And the fake relationship, and enemies to lovers, and…oh…wait…I think I just love romance 🙂
