Good morning, romance reader ♡

Good morning, romance reader ♡

“I don’t have a reading problem. I have insufficient reading time.”

I would like to file a formal complaint.

There are twenty-four hours in a day.

TWENTY-FOUR.

And somehow, after sleeping, working, answering messages, feeding myself, doing laundry, and pretending to be a responsible adult…

There are approximately seventeen minutes left for reading.

Excuse me?

Who approved this schedule?

Because my TBR was clearly not consulted.

I have slow burns waiting.

Enemies who desperately need to become lovers.

Morally gray men making questionable decisions.

Small towns full of fictional people whose business I am emotionally invested in.

And at least three heroines currently standing on the edge of life-changing revelations.

These are important commitments.

Yet apparently, society expects me to participate in things like grocery shopping and remembering appointments.

On a Monday, no less.

The audacity.

And the worst part?

When I finally get a little reading time, I spend half of it deciding which book deserves my attention.

Because choosing between five books I’m equally excited about is a legitimate emotional crisis.

Then I open one.

Get completely absorbed.

Finally reach the good part…

And suddenly it’s time to do something responsible again.

Absolutely unacceptable.

I don’t need fewer books.

I don’t need better time management.

And I certainly don’t need someone suggesting that I stop buying books until I’ve finished the ones I own.

Darling.

I need a day with approximately forty-seven hours.

Preferably with thirty of them reserved for fictional nonsense. ♡

Because reading isn’t the problem.

It’s one of the loveliest parts of my day.

The problem is that real life keeps scheduling itself directly over my happily ever afters.

Romanceaholic is requesting an immediate review of the twenty-four-hour day. The current arrangement is not reader-friendly.

If you could magically add three uninterrupted hours to every day, what book would you finally make time to read?

Whatever today brings, go find something delicious to read. ♡

Love stories. Taken seriously.
